GOLD GAINS RS.300 PER TOLA
Kathmandu, 30 July: Gold price increased by Rs.300 per tola Tuesday.
The precious metalwas being traded for Rs. 52,650 per tola.
Silver price also rose by five rupees per tola.
It was trading for Rs. 825.per tola.

UCPN MAOIST AND ALLIES MEET TO DEVELOP COMMON AGENDA
Kathmandu, 30 July: UCPN Maoist and allied parties are meeting Tuesday to develop a common agenda for the 19 November assembly election.
The parties are discussing difficulties encountered by a five-member constituency delineation commission to remap 240 electoral constituencies for the vote following resh census that showed increased terat population.
A NC member of the commission resigned and was replaced by another party member following failure to recommend suggestions 30 days after formation with difficulties encountered.

BUDDHISTS STAGE SIT-IN AT SIGHA DURBAR
Kathmandu, 30 July: Buddhists seeking installation of a Buddha image at
Kakre Bihar in Surkhet staged a sit-in front of Singha Durbar Tuesday morning.
Administration has prevent the image installation.
Traffic was disrupted.
Sit-in at Surkhet district administration is also being held.
