CPN MAOIST PLANS TO DISRUPT POLL

Kathmandu, 2 July: CPN Maoist has proposed a “One Booth, One Action” police to strategy to disrupt the 19 November polls, Nagarik reports.
:The chairman has proposed disrupting the vote at all polling booths, if possible.If this isn’t possible, the vote should be disturbed at one center in one region,” an unidentified party source said.

INDIAN FOREIGN MINISTER ARRIVING

Kathmandu, 2 July: Indian Foreign Minister Salman Khurshit arrives for a three-day visit 21 July, Annapurna Post reports.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman  Arjun Bahahur Thhapa said he has no
knowledge of the visit.
Other newspapers have reported the proposed visit on the same day
when the country is going to polls and government is laying the groundwork for it.
New Delhi is pushing elections as part of its Nepal policy..
