Kathmandu, 3 July: Maoist Chairman Prachanda’s Japan visit beginning  20 July has been cancelled.

The visit was cancelled as the party extended central committee meets 19

July.

CIAA BEGINS PROBE IN FINANCIAL IRREGULARITIES AT

MAOIST CAMPS

Katjmandu, 3 June: CIAA  has begun investigations into financial irregularities estimated at  four billion rupees at Maoist cantonments,  Yam Biraahi reports in

Annapurna Post.

The camps were funded from the state exchequer.

A preliminary investigation has established irregularities.

Detailed documents have been soight from concerned agencies.
