Thursday sent Ganesh Lama to Dilli Bazar Sadarkhor Jail,
after he failed
furnish a bail Rs 30 million.
Lama, was sentenced for money laundering. .
He had connections to political parties and was charged for amassing

Rs.260 million in unaccounted wealth.
Four others also described as dons have already been convicted.

FURTHER REPORTS OF VOTER DECLINE

This year voters have decreased as compared to the previous Constituent
Assembly (CA) election in various districts of the country, RSS reports.
In Baglung, the number was 100,000 less than the previous election, according the District Election Office Baglung.
Some 129,279 registered their names with photos by mid-July, said District Election Officer of Baglung, Tolaraj Upadhyay.
It was 226, 365 in the election of 2064 BS.
Likewise, in Morang, the voters are 496,222 this year according to the District Election Office, Morang. It was 568,000 in 2064 BS election.
There is an estimate of decrease of 71,778 in the district.
The number can be increased as some details is yet to come as some people might have taken pictures in other districts, said Mahesh Shrestha of the office.
In Tulsipur, Dang, some 238,987 voters have enlisted their names.
The details are collected in two years for CA election and for national identity card.
Names were collected in places suitable for people of 39 VDCs, said District Election Office Chief Sheshmani Gautam.
In Chitwan, some 273, 603 voters enlisted their names in the biometric voters´ list. Some 100,000 did not have pictures for the voters ID.
It was 382,580 in the previous CA election and 240,151 had voted. Now it is less by 108,977.
As per 2068 census, Chitwan has a population of 576, 948. Of them, voters might be 360,000 and some 85,000 may have missed enlisting this time.
