CONSTITUTION SHOULD BE A COMMON DOCUMENT SAYS
MADESH LEADER
Kathmandu, 19 July: Chairman of the Madhesi
Janadhikar Forum (Republican) Raj Kishor Yadav has said if the Constituent
Assembly (CA) election was not held without agreeing on the basic principles
of constitution making, it would only be a
ritual one, RSS reports from Nepalgunj..
Addressing a press meet organized here today by the Abadhi Journalists Association, he said the election will not be held on the stipulated date if the dissenting parties are not brought to election process and their just demands should be addressed. He also said it was urgent to seek ownership of all for making environment for election. When asked, he said it was due to little knowledge of the party leaders to say that the constitution can not be made without two third majorities of the largest parties. "If it is made by two third majorities, it can not be a common document of all Nepalese, and therefore, the path of consensus is the best one," he said. |
