CABINET TO DISCUSS ELECTION RELATED ISSUES

Kathmandu, 1 Aug.; Cabinet at a regular meeting Thursday in discussing an
integrated security for the November assembly polls and other election
related issues.
An agenda for talks with opposition led by CPN Maoist opposed to the vote in being prepared.
Initial CPN Maoist reaction to the third government Wednesday was
positive.
Relief for flood and landslide victims is also being discussed.
Victims from Darchila in the far-West have arrived in the capital saying
they haven’t received promosed relief.

DRAW HELD FOR AFC PRESIDENT’S CUP

Kathmandu, 1 Aug.: ‘A’ Division League champions Three Star Club
is in Group ‘A’ along with Balkan FC of Turkmenistan and
Erchim FC of Mongolia in the AFC President’s Cup Finals.
The draw was held in Kuala Lumpur Wednesday.
Dordoi Bishkek of Kyrgyzstan is  in Group ‘B’ with Hilal Al-Quds of
Palestine and Khan Research Laboratories Football Club of Pakistan.
