KAMAL THAPA TOO DEMANDS ROUNDTABLE
Kathmandu, 29 July: Chairman of the Rastriya
Prajatantra Party (RPP)-Nepal,
Kamal Thapa, has said that the environment of election should be created by
dissolving the High-Level Political Committee (HLPC) as it is the obstacle to
the election to the Constituent Assembly (CA), RSS reports from Parsa..
At a news conference organised by the party here today, Thapa expressed the view that the Chairman of the Interim Election Council or the President should give an outlet to country by calling an all-side roundtable conference rather than by the HLPC, which has no democratic rights and legality.
Thapa said that it was wrong to obstruct the CA election by using force even if a person has a democratic right whether or not to participate in the election.
Chairman Thapa had arrived here to participate in a cadres' training organised by the party for preparations for the election.
