KHURSHID ARRIVES UPDATE

Kathmandu, 9 July: Indian Foreign Minister Salman Khrshid told
reporters at TIA shortly after his arrival his visit aims to help conduct the 19 ovember second constituent assembly elections.
Talks will begin immediately with his counterpart Madhav Prasad
Ghimere.
He will the hold discussions with Chairman of the Interim Election Council Khil Taj Regmi.
Khurshit will pay a courtesy call of President DR. Ram Baran yadav.
A hotel has been booked for discussions with party leaders from 2.30 in
the afternoon.

NSU  CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEETS

Kathmandu, 9 July: A central meeting of Nepal Students’Union (NSU.
 a student wing of NC, iIs being held Tuesday.
The union will hold discussions on its three-day general convention from
in mid=September.

POKHARA, KUNMING SISTER RELATIONSHIP

Kathmandu, 9 July: Pokhara and Kunming in central China have signed
sister city relations.
Officials of the two municipalities signed the agreement.

CAPITAL TEMPERATURE

Kathmandu, 9 July: The capitals maximum temperature is expected to
rise to 26 degrees Tuesday.
Minimum temperature was 20 degrees Celsius.
Altogether 1.5mm rainfall was recorded in the city Monday.
