SPECIAL PUJA AT DOLESHWOR TEMPLE IN BHAKTAPUR
Kathmandu, 6 July; A special puja was conducted at Doleshwor Temple in Bhaktapur Saturday after extensive damage to the Kedrnath Temple in Indian state of
Utterkand where many Nepali pilgrims were killed and are missing..
.The government has expressed its commitment to provide support for the development of Sipadole-based Doleshwor Mahadev as a site for internal and religious tourism.

Regular puja has been disrupted at Kedarnath Temple following the worst early mosoon rain in India.
The belief is Lord Doleshwor is the head of Lord Kedarnath, and
Kedarnath and is revered.
Shree 1008 Jagat Guru Bheemashankarling Shivacharya, the chief priest
of Kedarnath Temple, had declared Doleswor Mahadev the head of
Kedarnath on August 22, 2009.
Regular puja will be conducted henceforth as the Bhaktapur temple.
