KESHAB STAPHIT WINS CASE AGAINST BABURAM

BHATTARAI GOVT.

Kathmandu, 28 July  A division bench of the supreme court Sunday

quashed a decision of the Baburam Bhattarai government to dismiss

Keshav Sthapit as the commissioner of the Kathmandu Valley

Development Authority.
Staphit was sacked as he developed differences with Hishila Yami, wife of the them premier.

The former mayor of the capital challenged the government decision saying he was appointed for a four-year term.

Bhattarai dismissed Staphit for ;incompetence.

ONE PILGRIM KILLED, FOUR INJURED IN MOHOTTARI

Kathmandu, 28 July:: Ooe pilgrim was injured and four were injured

when a van ioverturned in Mohottari Sunday.

The vehicle overturned after a tire burst.
