PASSENGERS STRANDED ON HIGHWAY TO TIBET
Kathmandu, 27 July: Hundreds of passengers have been stranded after the truck workers disrupted vehicular movement along the Araniko Highway demanding immediate release of their fellow workers on Saturday, RSS reports from Dolakha..

Driver Suraj Kumar Shrestha of Sangachowk, Sindhupalchowk, was allegedly arrested a few months ago on charge of smuggling of wildlife organs.

The truck laborers disrupted traffic at Chehere of Sindhupalchowk along the highway from early this morning.

The laborers have said that a case was filed against driver Shrestha by letting the foreigners to flee secretly.

Many vehicles on their routes to Dolakha, Barhabise, Tatopani of Sindhupalchowk and Ramechhap and the vehicles coming to the capital city from the respective sites have been stranded.
