Kathmandu, 15 July: Transactions in shares of NIC Bank and Asian Bank Ltd. resumed Sunday.

The two commercial banks merged into NIC Asia Bank Ltd.

Transactions in their shares had been stopped to facilitate the merger.

Kathmandu 15 July: Sri Lanka and Maldives play in the final of the South Asian Volleyball Championship in the Nepalese capital Monday.

Nepal and Afghanistan are out of the competition.
