Shrestha has been admitted to Norvic Hospital for treatment, fmily said.

Sjrestha was airlifted in serious condition from a hospital in New Delhi overnight.

SPECIAL MEASURES TO CURB BIRD FLU

Kathmandu, 14 Aug.: Special measures are being taken and announced by

government Wednesday to fight the spread of bird flu as more cases were

reported from the capital district a neighboring district.

Measures so far have prove ineffective.

Bhaktapur farmers resisted government efforts to declare an emergency

to cull all birds and instead monitoring movement of chicket and chicken products.
