SCHEDULED MEETING BETWEEN GOVT. AND 33-PARTY

OPPOSITION ALLIANCE RESCHEDULED FOR MONDAY

UPDATE

Kathmandu, 18 Aug.; A scheduled meeting between government and a

33-party opposition front led y CPN Maoists didn’t take place Snday.

The meeting is no being held Monday.

The meeting was rescheduled at the request of CPN Maoist citing

inadequate preparation for the meet,

The party  met separately  at its office amid internal differences

between two factions led by General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa and

another led by  Netra Bahaudur Chand on whether to participate in the 19 Novemer elections..
