PRACHANDA, UML TALKS

Kathmaandu, 9 Aog. Maoist Chairman and Coordinator Prachanda of the HKPM held talks with UML leaders at the residence of senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal Thursday.

They rejected opposition demands of the opposition to reschedule the 19 November assembly elections.

But they UCPN Maoist and UML leaders agreed some minor amendments could be made to 11-point and 25-point agreements as demanded by 33 opposition partiesss.

Prachanda was assisted by Baburam Bhattarai and Narayan Kazi Shrestha.

Vice-chairman Bamdev Gautam and other IML leaders aided Nepal.

Kathmandu, 9 Aug.: Paddy has been transplanted in only30,000 hectares

of land in Mohottari.

Farmers depend of rain water for transplantation in the district..

Rice has been transplanted in more than  92 percent farmland this

monsoon nation-wide.

Mohottari has 90,000 hectares farmland.
