TWO GORKHALAND WOMEN LEADERS KILLED IN ROAD

three sustained serious injury in a road mishap that took place in Panchmile India

The two deceased are the members of Gorkhaland movement, which is being waged in India to push a demand for autonomous state.
Vice-chariperson of Janamukti Nari Morcha, Mirik Area, Anjana Basnet and its central committee member Bindu Tolangi died in the accident that occurred while they were on the way back to Nepal from Darjeeling, confirmed Area Police Office, Pashupatinagar.
The vehicle they were travelling had fallen 300 meters down from the road. The seriously injured are being treated.
Police guessed that the accident might have taken place when the vehicle went uncontrolled due to high speed.

FATHER RAPES DAUGHTER

Aug,: It has been revealed that a father raped his own daughter at Salena
in Baitadi district recently, RSS reports from Baitadi.
A police team of the Area Police Office, Melauli, arrested the father aged 35.
The incident came to light six days later after the nine- year old daughter ran away to neighbour´s house next day of the incident from her house. The incident took place on August 12.
According to In-charge of the Area Police Office, Shankar Panta, action against the father has been forwarded.
Police Inspector Anil Upreti said that health test of daughter has been carried out at the District Hospital, Baitadi.Further investigation into the case is underway, he added.

WOMAN BATTERED TO DEATH BY HUSBAND

mercilessly beaten up by her husband in the district on Saturday night, RSS
reports from Birgunj..
Inebriated husband Sundar Khadka, 37, of Goshwara VDC-5 of Lamjung district killed his wife Sushila Khadka, 35, over a minor dispute, said the District Police Office Parsa.
The couple has been living in Birgunj in course of their employment.
Husband Khadka is working as a security guard in Sundar Steels Factory.
The dead body is kept at Zonal Hospital for postmortem. Police have nabbed the murderer for further action.
