NC TORCH TRUCK IN CHITWAN UPDATE
Kathmandu, 8 Aug.: NC students torched a truck at Narayanghad in
Chitwan during a district bandh Thursday.
Clashes broke between nC activists and police in the town.

MORE BIRD OUTBREAKS IN BHAKTAPUR BREAKING NEWS
Kathmandu, 8 Aug.: Bird flu broke out Thursday at eight more farms in
Bhaktapur.
Avian flu broke out in the town the saye day government lifted a ban on the sale of chicken mean and products under pressure from the industry amid criticism and concerned raised by National Human Rights Commission.

ONLY APPLICATIONS OF TWO PARTIES REMAIN TO BE DECIDED FOR ELECTIONS
Kathmandu, 8 Aug.: Election commission has to decide on applications of
 two remaining parties that have applied for recognition to participate in
the 19 November assembly elections, said election commission
spokesman  Bir Bahaduir Rai said
The commission has rejected applications of only eight apong 139 parties
that applied for recognition.
Parties have to apply for recognition every time elections are
announced.
