18 killed, pilot survives

Kathmandu, 8 Oct: Eighteen persons were killed in crash at Lukla airport Wednesday and the pilot survived, Nepali officials said.
Four Nepalis were among the dead.
The Twin Otter crashed on approach while landing at the airport constructed by Sir Edmund Hillary.
There were 19 passengers and crew on board.
