Britain encourages parties to work for constitution

Kathmandu, 31 March: British Minister for International Development Mike Foster Tuesday encouraged parties to work for drafting a new constitution.
He arrived for a second visit in fourmonths.
“I encourage all parties concerned to continue to work together to create a new constitution, and deliver peace and development to the people.
“The UK is committed to working with the government,” he said in an arrival statement,.
He is releasing a Nepal Development Strategy in the run up to Nepal Development Forum Meeting in May.
He said he will also launch new Nepal Country Plan for the next three years, from April 2009 to March 2012 designed to support Nepal’s efforts to achieve peace and development.
