U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Blake to discuss govt. formation

Kathmandu, 12 June: Visiting U.S. Assistant Secretary for Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert O. Blake will discuss formation of a delayed government and other issues during his two-day stay in Nepal, US embassy said
Besides government leaders, he will hold discussions with opposition leader and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the embassy said.
During his two-day visit, Blake will “ discuss the establishment of the new government, continuation of the peace process, and economic issues’.
He will hold discussions with UN officials as well as the mandate of the UNMIN ends 23 July.
