President convenes parliament

Kathmandu, 7 July: Budget session of parliament has been convened by President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at three in the afternoon Wednesday.
The president is scheduled to address the legislature the following day.
He will present the government’s policy and programmes.
It’s not certain whether Maoists will allow him to present the policy and programme.
Maoists allowed the parliament session to run smoothly this week after a two-month interruption.
