High-level political mechanism, formed (BREAKING NEWS)

Kathmandu, 1 Aug: Two ruling parties and the main opposition Saturday formed a high-level six-member political mechanism to break an impasse that is delaying the drafting of a constitution and integration of 19,000 plus Maoist combatants in society and Nepal Army.
Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal attended a summit of Maoists, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML.
The mechanism will include two representatives from the three biggest political parties.

Govt. reimburses ADBL

Kathmandu, 1: Government has reimbursed Agriculture Development Bank Ltd (ADBL) Rs 4.1 billion which the partially government-owned
bank waived as loans for farmers written off by the previous Maoist-led government.
Bank Chief Janak Raj Shah said now the bank’s non-performing assets has fallen to 8.6 percent from 11.9 percent.
