Three Maoist suggestions to PM Nepal

Kathmandu, 9 Aug: UCPN (Maoist) has offered three suggestions to Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal who is visiting India later this month, Annapurna Post reports.
Chairman Prachanda told Nepal no to sign an extradition treaty, review a 1950 friendship treaty and reject proposal to install a scanning machine of the ground at TAI.

Students and relatives protest

Kathmandu, 9 Aug: Students and relatives of seven persons killed and injured in a vehicular accident in the capital staged a protest in the capital Sunday morning.
Area around Ratna Park is tense.
Biplab Man Singh, 20, suspected for driving the car involved in the accident is a repeated offender, published reports said.
