Two parties threat to quit government

Kathmandu, 5 Sept: Seven lawmakers of MJFL, the fourth largest party in parliament, Saturday demanded withdrawal of support to government and withdrawal from it.
The party has 28 members in the legislature.
The demand comes immediately after party leader and Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachedhar said last week Maoists could be included in a changed government.
They demanded support of other Madesh parties for their move that weakens the position of the four-month government of Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal.
MJFL ;awmakers demanded an official party position,
Rashtriya Janamuki Party with two lawmakers Saturday also withdrew support for the government.
At the sametimet PM Nepal Saturday minimized possible threats to the government and said Maoists are spreading rumours of an imminent government collapse.
Nepal Saturday discussed the demand of Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala to promote daughter and Foreign Minister sujata Koirala with Acting President Sushil Koirala and Parliamentary party leader Ram Chandra Paudel at the residence of Congress activist Dr Narayan Khadka.
Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prachanda and CPN-UML Chairman held secret meeting Friday after Girija warned the government’s future depends of how PM Nepal conducts himself.
Dahal charged Saturday a landmine was exploded at the president’s office’ derailing the peace process.
