Nepali Congress, CPN-UML preparing a common censure motion

Kathmandu, 2 Oct: Nepali Congress and CPN-UML are preparing and presenting before Maoists Friday a common motion
to be presented in parliament to end a four-month political deadlock.
Maoists asked the two ruling parties Thursday to prepare an acceptable motion at a summit meeting of the three parties.
But Nepali Congress and CPN-UML said the motion shouldn’t censure President Dr Ram Baran Yadav who retained Army Chief Gen Rukmangud Katawal who was sacked by the Maoist-led government of Prachanda.
Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal Thursday said Maoists should be flexible to end the impasse.
Parties held inter and intra-party talks the whole day Thursday to end the deadlock.
