Budget approved, Girija, Jhalanath Khanal hold discussions

Kathmandu, 25 Nov: The annual budget 2009/10 was unanimously approved by parliament Wednesday after a five-month delay by the obstruction of the legislature by Maoists.
Chairman Subash Nemwang announced the approval.
Meanwhile, Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Wednesday held political discussions to end the political impasse with CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal who suggested a government change or its reorganization to conclude the peace process and draft a new constitution with Maoist cooperation.
