Prachanda Singapore bound

Kathmandu, 16 Nov: Maoist Chairman Prachanda flew to Singapore on a two-day visit for a meeting with ailing Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala.
It wasn’t certain whether he flew to the island republic for crucial political a; discussion with Koirala or for internal party reasons.
He’s accompanied by Foreign Department Chief Krishna Bahadur Mahara.
Prachanda said he will hold discussions with Koirala at a hospital but added he will promote party activities with activists in Singapore before emplaming.
Prachanda flew to Singapore Monday as the party tried to break a six-month deadlock with ruling parties.
Discussions were held with Maoists, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML leaders throughout Monday to break a deadlock.
