Maoists declaring two more federal autonomous regions

Kathmandu, 14 Dec. : Maoists Monday are declaring two more autonomous federal autonomous regions amid the protests of other parties.
Chairman Prachanda will declare Sherpa autonomous region in Solu while General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa will the Kirat autonomous region in Khotang.
Maoists will have declared six of 13 autonomous regions by Monday.

11 killed, 234 injured in Kaski bus accident

Kathmandu, 14.Dec: Eleven persons were killed, including five women, when a bus fell 150 ft off a highway in Kaski, first reports said.
Twenty-three passengers were injured, five seriously, as the bus was proceeding to Pokhara,
The bus was overcrowded.

Tenure of technical committee extended again

Kathmandu, 14 Dec.: The tenure of the technical committee of the special integration and rehabilitation committee of Maoist combatants was extended for the second time Monday for another three months.
The special committee meeting extended the tenure.
Names of two Maoists, including Deputy PLA commander Chandra Prakash Khanal, were approved as technical committee members.

Serious sick Girija being flown to Singapore again

Kathmandu, 14 Dec.: A programme has been fixed to fly Nepali Congress Girija Prasad Koirala again to Singapore Wednesday, Jana Bhawana reports.
He is being flown there to investigate the nature of a patch in the lung on doctor’s advice.

Kathmandu, 14 Dec: Leaders of three parties will give final shape to a common resolution Tuesday to break a political deadlock.
Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman Prachanda and Nepali Congress Acting President Sushil discussed a recommendation of a task force Monday.
Details of a possible agreement weren’t revealed.
UML leader Ishwor Pokhrel revealed three parties were close to an agreement.
