Security reinforced at TAI

Kathmandu, 26 Jan.: Security was reinforced at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to prevent a possible hijacking as neighbouring India celebrates Republic Day Tuesday.
Security was strengthened at the request of India which has alerted neighbouring counties of hijack possibility.
Home Minister Bhim Rawal Monday convened a meeting of security agencies to prevent a hijack.
