Voting ends for voting of office bearers of NBA

Kathmandu, 9 Jan.: Voting ended Saturday at four in the afternoon for election of 17 office bearers of Nepal Bar Association (NBA) for three years.
Nearly 7,000 layers cast their ballots at polling centers throughout the country.
Six candidates are contesting the chairmanship.
Prem Bahadur Khadka represents what is called the democratic panel, Hari Krishna Karki in contesting on behalf of progressives and Ram Nath Mainali has been put up by Maoists.
Results are expected Tuesday.

A tentative constitution to be presented to CA

Kathmandu, 9 Jan. A proposed draft of a proposed constitution was scheduled to presented at the constituent assembly (CA) Saturday by the main constitution drafting committee.
There are 21 differing concepts on subjects to be included in the basic law.
There’s no unanimity between major parties on articles to be included.
Two of 11 subject are yet to submit their recommendations to CA despite rescheduling dates for submission eight times.
