Nobody injured in Bhaktapur firing; other details (DEVELOPING STORY)

Kathmandu, 5 May: Nobody was injured in a firing a firing in Bhaktapur where activists of Maoist YCL and UML Youth Force confronted each other during the fourth day of a crippling Maoist seize of the streets nation-wide.
Both sides accused other for starting the firing.
Youth Force was led by its Chief Mahesh Basnet.
Maoist activist from Kaski Ganesh Karki died while undergoing treatment at a hospital near Kalanki where he was injured overnight when a motorcycle driven by a policeman hit him.
Police denied the incident was pre-planned adding the motorcyclist is seriously injured.
Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has invited Kathmandu-based ambassadors and representatives countries at three in the afternoon at his official residence for a briefing on the latest situation.
Deciding to stay aloof, India has rejected a request of unnamed countries to mediate the crisis created by the indefinite Maoist strike while extending support to the government, the online edition of Times of India said.
