Maoist woman legislator dead

Kathmandu, 14 Aug.: Maoist lawmaker Ram Kumari Yadav died Saturday as she was being airlifted to New Delhi for emergency treatment for third degree burns when a gas cylinder exploded at her home Friday.
The hospital in the Indian capital pronounced her dead..
Her evacuation was delayed Friday following bad weather.
Several other Maoist lawmakers sharing an apartment with her weren’t injured in the accident.
