MAOISTS, GOVT. TO DICSCUSS UNMIN (DEVELOPONG STORY)

Kathmandu, 10 Sept.: At a meeting of office bearers, Maoists decided to take up the future of UNMIN with government.
Discussions are scheduled for Friday.
A meeting of government and Maoist representatives was inconclusive Thursday.
Maoists and government have separate letters to the UN on its tenure and mandate.
Maoists demanded a six-month extension without change of mandate.
Government has agreed to a four-month extension taking the Nepal Army off UNMIN watch.

Kathmandu, 10 Sept.: Maoist activist Sher Bahadur Bohara, 50, was murdered by an unknown group in Dailekh this week.
