REMAINS OF FOUR PERSONS FOUND IN DHANUSHA

Kathmandu, 19 Sept.: Remains of four persons have been found while digging a grave along Kamala river in Dhanusha by a team of forensic experts of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), commission Spokesman Gauri Pradhan said.
He was releasing a repot of the excavation.
The NHRC team was assisted by foreign forensic experts.
Bullets and empty shells were also recovered from the site.
Conclusions will be made after scientific studies.
The commission was searching for the remains of five Maoists allegedly killed by Nepal Army during the 10-year Maoist insurgency.

UML ASKS NC TO PILL OUR OF PM’S RACE

Kathmandu, 19 Sept.: UML parliamentary party Saturday asked NC, currently busy with its 12th general convention, also to pull out of the eight round of voting for prime minister 26 September.
The request was made after Maoist Chairman Prachanda withdrew from the race.
The two communist parties, who command a majority n parliament, said they won’t vote in the next round of parliamentary elections.
The vote will again be inconclusive.
The two parties said the they took a decision to begin a new process toend the protracted deadlock by forming a national government.
A consensus government couldn’t lbe formed in the first round voting.
