Kathmandu, 13 April: Lightning killed six persons and injured several others in three districts overnight.
Two died in Makwanpur, three in Sindhuli and one in Udaipur.
Three persons were injured in Lamjung.

PRACHANDA, PM KHANAL TALKS AGAIN INCONCLUSIVE

Kathmandu, 13 April: Talks between Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal and Maoist Chairman Prachanda on government expansion were inconclusive Wednesday with the government chief not budging from his position not to award the home ministry to Maoists.
Maoists say they won’t provide a name list of additional members of the government team until they get the home ministry.
Prachanda held talks with Khanal one day after the UCPN (Maoist) standing committee meet which is meeting again Thursday to discuss government expansion again.
Khanal added 12 members from his own UML party Tuesday to increase the government size to 20 members—16 from UML and four from Maoists.
