OMAN REQUEST TO RESUME SENDING NEPALI WORKERS

OMAN REQUEST

Kathmandu, 18 April: Oman has formally asked Nepali workers be sent there, Annapurna Post reports.
The Oman embassy in New Delhi sent the request to the Nepali embassy in the Indian capital.
Nepal government had stopped sending workers there.

SIX FOREIGN MINISTRY DEPUTY SECRETARIES TRANSFERRED

Kathmandu, 18April: Six deputy secretaries transferred of the foreign ministry were transferred Sunday, Annapurna Post reports.
Deputy Chief of Protocol Arjun Kant Mainali was transferred to Washington; Tapasnath Adhikari and Dornath Aryal have been transferred to the embassies in Tokyo and Bangkok respectively.
Ambika Luitel of Europe-USA Division has been transferred to the London embassy and Deputy Spokesman Harish Chandra Ghimere has been appointed to the embassy in Saudi Arabia.
Kumar Kharel, Tirtha Raj Wagle, Rishiram Ghimere and Prakashmani Paudel have been transferred to the embassies in Brussels, Beijing, Seoul and Berlin respectively.

CONGRATULATION BOOK OPEN FOR SIGNATURE ON BRITISH ROYAL WEDDING

Kathmandu, 18 April A congratulatory book will be kept at the consular section of the British to wish Britain’s Prince William and Catherine Middleton who are marrying in London 29 April,
The book will be available from 9am to 5pm on Tuesday, April 19 to Thursday, April 21 and Tuesday April 26 to Wednesday April 27.
