Kathmandu, 28 May: Top leaders of ruling CPN (Maoist) and main opposition NC began consultations Saturday afternoon to find an outlet to the deadlock called a crisis by Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal.

PRESIDENT PREPARING HIMSELF FOR POLITICAL ROLE

Kathmandu, 28 May: With little possibility of an extension of the constituent assembly tenure, Shital Niwas is doing homework on the president’s constitutional and political roles after 28 May, Bal Krishna Basnet writes in Kantipur.

BHANU KUMAR TIBDEWALA ARRESTED

Kathmandu, 28 May: Trader Bhanu Kumar Tibdewala, absconding for two years, after Kathmandu district court fined him Rs 12.6 million and slapped a one-year jail sentence was arrested by criminal investigation bureau Friday from the capital.
He was sentenced for money laundering.
