Kathmandu, 13 June: Yuvaraj Lama has been appointed member secretary of National Sports Council (NSC).
Lama is a former karate player and filmmaker.

PAKISTAN AMBASSADOR COMPLETES NEPAL MISSION

Kathmandu, 13 June: Pakistan Ambassador Syed Abrar Hussain has completed his mission to Nepal.
The envoy paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal Sunday.
The ambassador extended the premier an invitation to visit Pakistan at a convenient date.

BRITISH MINISTER ARRIVES MONDAY

Kathmandu, 13 June: British Home Office minister with responsibility for equality Lynne Featherstone arrived Monday for a three-day visit.
The focus of her visit is to learn about how Nepal is tackling violence against women and other forms of discrimination, the Bristish embassy said.
