MASS TRANSFER OF 67 SPs

67 SPs TRANSFERRED

Kathmandu, 15 June: Sixty-seven Nepal Police SP’s were transferred Wednesday in a mass transfer after IGP Rabindra Pratap Shah assumed office.
Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara overturned a decision of former IGP Ramesh Chand Thakiri as Mahara was being sworn in.
Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal was overseeing the home ministry before Mahara took charge of the home portfolio.
Kedar Rijal took as Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Range; Bheg Bahadur Thapa is chief of Lalitpur Metropolitan Range chief.

TERAI REBEL LEADER ARRESTED BY INDIAN PARA-MILITARY UNIT
Kathmandu, 15 June: Indrajeet Yadav, Mohottari chief of Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (Jwala Singh Group) was arrested Tuesday by Indian Border Security Force at Sirsiya checkpost.n Tyagi has been held in bordering Indian check post.
Nepal is seeking his extradition.
Yadav is on the most wanted list of Nepal Police.
