SPECIAL COMMITTEE MEET ON INTEGRATIONON OF MAOIST
INCONCLUSIVE

Kathmandu, 10 June: Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal, who is chief of a special committee on integration, resettlement and supervision of former 19,000 plus Maoist fighters is meeting Maoist Chairman Prachanda and NC President Sushil Koiarala Friday to discuss the issue.
Thursday’s committee meeting to discuss the issue was inconclusive.
The special committee meets again Saturday.

Kathmandu, 10 June: Three persons are missing, feared dead in a boat capsize on Karnali river in Lagan VDC, Surkhet.
A husband, his wife and another woman are feared dead..
Three others swam to safety.
