PRACHANDA SUB-COMMITTEE ADJOURNED AFTER ONLY BRIEF MEET

Kathmandu, 10 June: The Prachanda-led sub-committee to resolve differences on articles to be incorporated in a proposed constitution was adjourned after a brief meeting Friday.
The Maoist chief wasn’t present at Friday’s meet.
The sub-committee was to form three bodies for detailed discussion on points of differences such as a federal structure and election process.

BODIES OF NINE NEPALI WOMEN UNCLAIMED IN KUWAIT HOSPITAL

Kathmandu, 10 June: Bodies of nine Nepali women lie unclaimed at a hospital in Kuwait for the last one year, Hom Karki reports in Kantipur.
The causes of their deaths haven’t been established; their dear ones haven’t been traced.
According to the Nepali embassy in Kuwait, the bodies haven’t been sent home because their passports and dear ones haven’t been traced.
Bodies of Shanti Sarki, Shanti Darji, Amrita Senchuri, Sanumaya Kasni Kami, Sabina Nepal, Sarashwati Abas, Nilima Yonghang Limbu and Kabita Bishwakarma are at the hospital.
