MILLIONS OF RUPEES DAMAGE ESTIMATED IN FIRE AT MAYOS CHOW FACTORY
Kathmandu, 11 July: Millions of rupees in damage is estimated in a fire that started at the factory in Mayos chow factory in Kavre Monday.
Firefighters, police and locals have been trying to extinguish the fire for four hours after it started at 9.30 in the morning.
The fire has not been contained until.130 in the afternoon.
An electric short circuit may have started the fire, television reporters from the scene reported.

ANOTHER UNILATERAL DAM CONSTRUCTION ON BORDER RIVER
Kathmandu, 11 July: India again unilaterally started dam construction across the Jogbuda river near Shantinagar in Dodhara VDC in Kachanpur, RadioNepalsaid in an afternoon news broadcast.
The unilateral construction has spread in the Nepalese settlements along the river with the erosion of hundreds of bighas of agricultural land.
India stopped the construction last year after Nepali protests.

HOME MINISTRY CURB ON MEETINTS WITH FOREIGNERS
Kathmandu, 11 July: Home ministry has debarred officials and chief of three security agencies from meeting foreigners and interacting with them without prior permission of the ministry, Kedar Ojha reports in Kantipur.
The ministry issued directives Sunday.
