PASSENGERS STRANDED AFTER TRANSPORT STRIKE FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE DAY
Kathmandu, 12 July: Passengers on short and long-distance routes were stranded for the second consecutive day Tuesday in the Far-West districts after an indefinite strike by transport entrepreneurs.
The strike was called demanding cancellation of route permit
awarded by local administration to a new transport company.

SIX TIBETANS ARRESTED FOR ILLEGAL ENTRY
Kathmandu, 12 July: Six Tibetans were at Lamidanda-6 in the bordering Dolakha district for illegal entry into Nepal Tuesday.
Such entrants are usually escorted to the Immigration Department in the capital.
