18 INJURED AS BUS OVERTURNS IN LAHAN

Kathmandu, 4 Aug.: Eighteen persons were injured, two seriously, when a bus overturned near Lahan in Siraha Thursday morning.
The bus was heading for Dharan the capital.

MAN KILLS WIFE, AUNT IN DRUNKEN STUPOR

Kathmandu, 4 Aug. A man hacked his wife. Meena and aunt, Harikala, to death with a sickle at Lumithana VDC Parbat Tuesday night in a drunken stupor.
Bhakta Bahadur Bhandari hacked and injured his mother, Dhanasari, father-in-law, Bhim Chetri; and daughter-in-law, Pabitra,
Bhandari was arrested after fleeing.

FRENCH AIRCRAFT JOINS BUDDHA AIR FLEET

Kathmandu, 4 Aug.: A ATR-72-500 joined the fleet of Buddha Air Wednesday.
It will be pressed into service on Biratnagar,Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj and Bhadrapur sectors.
Buddha Air how has a fleet of four Beechcraft 1900D, three ATR 42-320 and two ATR 72-500.

ANOTHER MERGER IN OFFING

Kathmandu, 4 Aug.: Swastik Merchant Finance (SMF) and Infrastructure Development Bank (IDB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for merger.
The new institution will be named Infrastructure Development Bank.
