JHALANATH KHANAL VACATES BALUKWATAR UPDATE

Kathmandu, 29 Aug.: Caretaker Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal vacated his official residence at Baluwatar Monday,
It wasn’t known when his successor Dr.Baburam Bhattarai would move into the official residence of the prime minister.
Khanal didn’t return to Baluwatar after attending the installation of Dr. Bhattarai as the new prime minister.
Bhattarai chose to use a locally assembled Mustang jeep even for official use.
Energy Minister Gokarna Bista, who received praises for recovering millions of rupees in power bill dues from government offices, decided to import an expense R,120 million luxury Japanese car for Khanal’s use out of government.
Public are monitoring if Khanal will accept the emery ministry ‘donation’.
The former premier is in a fix and has to move to protect his image.
