PM KHANAL TO HOLD NEWS CONFERENCE UPDATE
Kathmandu, 13 Aug.: Beleaguered Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal is holding a news conference at four in the afternoon Saturday.
There’s no breakthrough as yet until two in the afternoon to avert his threatened resignation.
Khanal assumed office in the first week of February 2011 with Maoists after signing a secret seven-point agreement with UCPN (Maoist) opposed by a section in his own party and other opposition parties.

INDIAN MILITARY DELEGATION LEAVES
Kathmandu, 13 Aug.: An Indian Army top delegation led by Lt. Gen. flew back home Saturday andter concluding four-dayNepal visit.
The team held talks with Defence Minister Bishnu Paudel, Defence Secretary Nabin Ghimere and Army Chief Gen. Chatraman Singh Gurung.
