The flow was 190.170 cusecs Saturday afternoon.

Kathmandu, 6 Aug.: Main opposition NC President asked Maoists to complete to complete the peace process and help promulgate a ‘complete democratic constitution’; Saturday while talking to reporters.
‘With the status quo, Congress can’t accept a Maoist-led government. Such a government is not acceptable to us.”
Koirala said NC can accept a Maoist-led government after the peace process is concluded and said the main opposition would even support it

PM KHANAL HAS SLIGHT FEVER CAUSED BY COLD
Kathmandu, 6 April: Prime Minister and CPN-UML chairperson Jhala Nath Khanal has complained of slight fever today due to cold, confirmed his press advisor, Surya Thapa, RSS reports.

The PM who returned home after presiding over the central committee meeting of the UML this noon [Saturday] complained of fever but has no any other serious problem, said Thapa.

Thapa said he was unaware about the news that was disseminated saying that the UML CC meeting postponed due to Khanal's illness.

VICE-PRESIDENT INAUGURATES LITERARY ART MUSEUM WHERE LAXMI PRASAD DEBKOTA WAS BORN

Kathmandu, 6 Aug.: Mahakavi Devkota Literary Art Museum Foundation has been established at the birth home of Mahakavi Laxmi Prasad Devkota at Dhobidhara in the Capital, RSS reports.

The foundation aims to promote literature; publish creations of litterateurs; artists and those who have remarkable contributions to the society in their names; take initiatives to popularise creations of renowned poets and artists; and provide scholarship and support to excellent students. It will collect and conserve all creations of Mahakabi, promote them through various means, translate the collected creations in English language and distributed them for study purpose.

Amid a function organised on Saturday, Vice President Paramananda Jha inaugurated the foundation.

On the occasion, he honoured poets and those who contributed to the establishement of the foundation.

Saying that literature is the mirror of the society, he said literature will help build the state.

At the function, foundation’s Chairperson Sushma Sharma said Mahakavi’s niece Umesh Devkota left a mark by providing his birth home to the foundation.
