FURTHER DETAILS OF DEUBA RESIGNATION
Kathmandu, 28 Sept.: NC senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba charged President Sushil Koirala of attempting to run the main opposition party unilaterally.
Koirala earlier rejected a party dialogue team suggestion for a resolution of the party dispute by reinstating chairpersons of four fraternal organization to conduct elections for executive bodies.
Members of both party factions were in the dialogue team.
Elected tenures of office bearers of four fraternal organizations had been completed.
Deuba move is added pressure of the party establishment faction.
He headed the NC (Democratic) when it split in a dispute between Girija Prasad Koirala who attempted his impose supremacy over the once largest party.
The party is still divided between the two camps after a merger.
Deuba charges the establishment for not implementing his agreements he had with the late party president for unification.
The two factions are almost equally divided in the central committee.
