HOUSES COLLAPSE IN ASON, INDRA CHOWK; OTHER DETAILS OF QUAKE

Kathmandu, 18 Sept.: In the capital houses collapsed in Ason and Indra Chowk
The cabinet met in emergency session.
The earthquake destroyed around 58 houses across the nation with 10 in the capital, an official statement said.
But Bir Hospital reported at last 15 persons were treated at the emergency.
Sajan Shrestha,36, Anisha Shrestha ,8., and Bir Bahadur Majhi were killed in he capital wall collapse; they died while undergoing treatment at hospital.
In Dharan have been identified as Santos Pariyar (22) and Bimala Pariyar(5).

GOLD PRICE UP RS. 1‚100 PER TOLA
Kathmandu, 18 Sept.: Gold price was increased by Rs. 1,100 per tola compared Sunday to its price on Friday, according to Nepal Gold and Silver Dealer's Association (NEGOSIDA), RSS reports.

The trademark gold was traded at Rs. 53,000 per tola in local market today. The price of trademark gold was Rs. 51,900 on Friday.

Similarly, the price of worked gold was increased by Rs. 1,100 per tola and traded at Rs. 52,790 in domestic market, said NEGOSIDA.

The fine silver was traded at Rs. 1,225 per tola increasing Rs. 25 compared to the price on Friday.
