SD MUNI IN TOWN , MEETS PM BHATTARAI
Kathmandu, 19 Sept. Former Professor of Jhawahar Lal University (JNU) in New Delhi SD Muni, met Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai 17 September at Baluwatar, Sanghu reports.
Bhattarai has close relations with mIni.
The relationship began when the premier was a student at the university in the Indian capital.
The meeting is important because the former premier is deeply involved in Nepali politics even as an academic
Muni was a front of the Indian government during the transition from a monarchy to a republic four years ago.
The Indian academician is currently based in Singapore where he is associated with a think tank.

WikiLeaks published details of cables from US embassy in Kathmandu and State Department saying Muni hosted a reception for Maoist Chairman Prachanda in the island state after he was ousted as government chief more than 29 months ago.
Indian government troubleshooter for Nepal and former ambassador to Nepal KV Rajan was present at the reception.
Muni has been lobbying for Bhattarai in India, sources close to him said. nnnn
